This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website and use our AI producer tag generation services (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways when you interact with our Service:

  • Personal Data: When you register for an account, we collect identifiable information such as your email address, username, and password.
  • Input Data & Creative Content: We collect the text prompts (producer names, phrases) you type into our generator, as well as any audio samples you upload for the "Clone Voice" feature.
  • Payment Information: If you purchase credits or a subscription, your payment details (e.g., credit card number) are collected and processed directly by our secure third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe). We do not store your full credit card information on our servers.
  • Usage Data: We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Service. This includes your IP address, browser type, operating system, accessing times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect primarily to provide, maintain, and improve our AI generation services. Specifically, we use your data to:

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Process your text inputs and voice samples to generate your customized producer tags.
  • Deduct credits from your account balance for generated tags.
  • Process your payments and prevent fraudulent transactions.
  • Send you administrative information, such as updates to our terms, security alerts, and account notifications.
  • Improve our website layout, AI synthesis models, and overall user experience.

3. AI Training and Voice Cloning Privacy

We understand that producers value the uniqueness of their sound.

  • Voice Cloning: Any voice audio you upload to clone your voice is processed securely solely for the purpose of generating your personal tags. We do not share your voice models with other users.
  • AI Training: We do not use your personal text inputs, generated producer tags, or uploaded voice samples to train our public-facing AI models without your explicit, opt-in consent.

4. Data Ownership and Usage Rights (Your Content)

We believe that what you create belongs to you.

  • Full Ownership: You retain all ownership rights to the original text prompts and audio samples you input into Tag_My_Beat.
  • Unrestricted Usage of Generated Tags: You are granted full, unrestricted, exclusive, and royalty-free rights to the final audio files (producer tags) generated through your account.
  • Commercial Rights: You may use, distribute, modify, broadcast, and monetize the generated producer tags in any capacity. This includes, but is not limited to, placing the tags on instrumentals, selling beats containing the tags, uploading to streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.), and using them in commercial broadcasts, with no attribution to Tag_My_Beat required.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your Personal Data to third parties. We may share your information only in the following situations:

  • Service Providers: We may share your data with third-party vendors who perform services for us, such as cloud hosting providers (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud), AI API providers, payment processors, and customer service applications.
  • Legal Obligations: We may disclose your information where we are legally required to do so in order to comply with applicable law, governmental requests, a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.

6. Data Security and Retention

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information and generated audio files. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.

We retain your personal information and generation history (including your generated .wav or .mp3 files) only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account dashboard — see Section 7 below.

7. Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account at any time from the Danger Zone of your account dashboard. To prevent accidental or unauthorized deletion, you will be asked to type the word DELETE to confirm your choice.

When you delete your account, we permanently erase your account profile, credits balance, cloned voices, generation history, and other personal data associated with your account. This action is irreversible.

  • Payment & Transaction Records: To comply with legal, tax, and fraud-prevention obligations, we retain records of your completed payments. Upon deletion these records are anonymized — they are no longer linked to your account or identity — but the underlying transaction data is kept for audit purposes.
  • Welcome Bonus Protection: To prevent abuse of our new-user welcome credits, we retain an irreversible, one-way cryptographic hash of your email address after deletion. This hash cannot be used to identify you or reconstruct your email address. If you later create a new account with the same email, the welcome bonus will not be granted again, but the new account will otherwise function normally.
  • External Voice-Cloning Providers: If you connected third-party voice-cloning services, we also request deletion of your voice models from those providers when you delete your account, subject to their own retention policies.

8. Your Data Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • The right to access the personal information we hold about you.
  • The right to request that we correct any inaccurate information.
  • The right to delete your account and associated personal data — which you can do yourself from your account dashboard (see Section 7), or request by contacting us.
  • The right to opt-out of marketing communications.
